Using fresh lobsters can boost the overall well being and health of an individual. This is especially that this dish is easy to serve. Since there are different ways to cook lobsters, boiling can be used in preparing the dish than other ways of cooking. Just prepare these simple ingredients like water, lobster, and salt to get started.

The first thing to do is to fill a large pot with adequate water. Three to five gallons of water can already hold about eight pounds of lobster. It is better to put extra gallon than overcrowding the pot with lobsters. After that, you may add 1 to 2 tablespoons of salt depending on your tastes. For great results, you should use sea salt.

Make sure to allow the water a full rolling boil. This rolling boil can be seen when the it does not stop boiling when you stir it. This is vital to ensure that it is boiling after placing the lobsters while minimizing the temperature from time to time. If you are cooking multiple lobsters, place them at a time so you can remove them at a time as well.

After waiting for the allotted time, test the meat if it is already done. You can check it through its color. Fully cooked ones are deep red in color while uncooked ones have a charcoal color look. Test the meat and check if the meat has a firm, opaque and white skin. This is because uncooked meat has a clear appearance.

Always remember to never overcrowd the pot. It would be better to cook in batches if you are preparing many lobsters. Cooked ones pair nicely with lemon and melted butter. Dip in white vinegar for fun and enjoyment.
