Knowing What Halal Is From Muslims Perspective

Halal is a Muslim word which means legally accepted with respect to Islamic law. Basically, Halal MRE is characterized as allowable food and drinks that are ready to eat. This follows certain belief in what food is only to be eaten same goes what drink is to be drank. These are packed accordingly to be consumed for a long period of time. Moreover, these come from the supplier that uses this practices.

Halal certified foods and drinks are widely in demand. Goods are prepared in accordance to the dietary law of the Islamic teachings. The process and the ingredients are the basis in considering if the food is allowable or not.

Basically, they eat chicken, sheep, cattle, and others that are permissible by their law. These animals are being slaughtered in a way where only Muslim people are required in doing so. They got to say a prayer when doing the action. It has been their practice too to use a sharp knife for killing so that, animals will die quickly and blood will flow thoroughly. In case of aquatic animals, like fish, killing them does not necessarily need to do the same practice since they do die right away when leaving the water and do not have much blood.

Other permitted processed food are from any grains like bread, cereals, baked goods, rice, pasta etc. In the case of vegetables, all are permissible whether they are raw, dried, frozen, or canned. Yogurt, cheese, ice cream are most loved by them. As known, pork and its by products like bacon, ham and sausages are are not permitted.

Any drinks can be drank as long as they are not made the same way as liquors do. It has been strongly described that whether the production process contained a little alcohol or is distilled, it is not allowed to drink. Alcohol was derived from liquor production process and is known to be against their teachings. Though it is also possible to have it prepared from a non liquor production, it is still undrinkable because it is poisonous and harmful for them.

Muslims often turn to become vegetarians and are meticulous in buying products checking if its certified or not. Actually, companies that are manufacturing these products are widely available. This fact is even embraced by the non Muslims because they too are starting to consume certified Halal products. Since there are Muslims wherever part in the world, production of these are increasing.

Generally, ensuring whether the goods are certified can make you feel doubtful at times. Because labels do not always say halal. For non Muslims, better familiarize with yourself the Arabic lettering for it. So in order to make sure that what you are buying has a valid certificate, you may request a copy of its certificate from the product manufacturer or refer to the Islamic body which certifies the product for confirmation.

You are what you eat. This phrase also applies in the Muslim belief. To eat to live and not to live to eat. But what they are emphasizing is that, you should eat moderately having the rightful kinds of foods in accordance to what God has advised to eat. If a Muslim person may purposely eat foods that are non allowable, he will be condemned bu not following what God has taught to him.
